Currently, bbf: is looking to expand its internal staff and is seeking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Technical Department in Limassol.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
• Evaluating all changes, requesting by clients or by in-house departments.
• Studying documentation, meeting with clients, after sales executives, sales managers and inspecting the construction site to fully understand what work is required.
• Collecting all pertinent documents including property plans, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Preparing BOQs, reports, analyses, risk assessment, and other documents.
• Monitor and control costs throughout the project.
• Identify risks surrounding the project and the likelihood of cost variation.
• Track any changes to the design or actual work and adjust budget projections.
• Advising stakeholders on improvements.
• Liaise between site managers, project managers, site engineers and the client.

Requirements for the position:

• Professional degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Economics, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and practices.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office, AutoCAD; knowledge of iTOW CostX will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and organize multiple projects or assignments effectively.
• Strong stakeholder management skills; ability to collaborate with clients, management, and contractors.
• Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills, with the ability to network effectively.
• Accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Strong organizational, planning, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Fluency in English and Greek (spoken and written) is essential.
